Imperial Armor Apoc II is legal in a few tournaments.. Now what?

Good question.
A buddy of mine asked me what list I would build for a tournament that allowed these units and below is what I came up with.

I am pretty disappointed with the fact that many of the units are not useable by Blood Angles. This has to be linked to the fluff reason that the BA and the Adeptus Mechanicus are at odds because the BA stole the STC for the Baal Pred (spoiler, it didn't originate on Baal) and the fact that BA don't use Land Raiders the way the AM thinks they should..

Sooo.. because of that Forge World is going to have to try harder to get money from me.   With that said I think the best Marine list that can take advantage of some of the new toys are the Black Templars.

The BT get a lot of breaks when you compare some of their army list choices to 'modern' codices.  Their Preds and Land Speeders are cheaper and you can still take 5 man las/plas squads with them.  Their lords and ICs get access to the old style war gear options as well.  The whole thing benefits from a bit of reverse codex creep as the army lists and tournaments have evolved.

I'd also like to point out that the BT don't subscribe to the Drop Pod Assault rule.  They still have the old deny-deny-deny drop pod rules that got the rule changed in the first place.

Without any more rambling here is the list.

The only thing you really need to be careful with is the shoebox that is the Caestus.  I like this list.  It's very aggressive and if you get the 2nd turn you are for sure putting your opponent in a bad situation.  You are ablet to come down and literally wall off critical objectives and defend then with all your deep striking terminators.

Bonus section:  I am trying to spec out some Forge World purchases.  I'd really like to get my hand on a couple Contemptor Dreads that I can up for my chaos army.  The Nurgle Contemptor with the butcher cannon may be a chunck of points but it really is a beast.

What do yall think?  Any of the new FW pieces just begging to be a part of your army?
